Kelley and Servando get Married!! {Seattle University/Yacht Club Wedding}

Kelley and Servando are two of those “total package” people. Brains (they met in Latin class for goodness sakes), stunning good looks, and over-the-top insanely caring people. Their wedding day was beautiful! I had fun texting with Kelley that morning, who was WAY too calm to be getting married. The girls got ready at a hotel around the corner from the chapel at Seattle University while the boys got ready at a friends house. It was so fun to be with the girls, and watch Kelley, happy as a clam, just hang out and have her make-up done. Her sister, mom, and other bridesmaids surrounding her, basking in the joy. Some of my favorite moments were witnessing the special bond between Kelley and her sister, Kristi.

As we finished preparations, the boys unexpectedly showed up on the sidewalk outside, and we last-minute changed locations to do the ‘first look’ at the hotel. Servando’s face as he saw his bride will forever be etched in my mind.  It is moments like these that make me feel SO honored to do what I do.
We then trucked it over to the University of Seattle campus and had fun with the bridal party (also, ridiculously stunning people). I insisted on wearing my cutest pair of heels that day, and only almost broke my ankle about 5 times (no worries, I ended the day unscathed… well, besides the 10 blisters…).

In the early evening, Servando and Kelley said ‘I do’ in a beautiful Catholic ceremony with some of most stunning music I have ever heard performed  at a wedding. I RELISHED in it. There was a complete air of reverance of love in the church as two became one.

The remainder of the evening was held at the TYEE yacht club on Lake Union. Nothing says summer like being on the water in Seattle. The weather was beautiful, and boats cruised by as the guests eat, laughed, and danced the night away.

Kelley and Servando, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing me to be your wedding photographer. It has been such a fun journey to join you on, and I am so inspired by your love. Believe me when I say that you too are some of the most thoughtful and caring people I have ever met. You deserve nothing but the best in your future together (and many fruitful tomato plants).:)
